Michelle Jacques, director of Kindermusik of Cambridge/KW, was awarded 3rd Largest Kindermusik for the Young Child® Program Worldwide, 3rd Largest Kindermusik Our Time® Program Worldwide, 2nd Largest Kindermusik Village® Program Worldwide and Largest Kindermusik Imagine That!® Program Worldwide.
Jacques, who founded the Kindermusik of Cambridge studio in 1987, also received a 20-year plaque at the closing ceremonies of the annual convention. What began in her basement studio with 27 students has now grown to nearly 700 children, 16 licensed Kindermusik educators, and two bustling commercial locations – one in Cambridge on Sheldon Drive and the other in uptown Waterloo.
“The best part about winning these awards was that I was surrounded by several of my colleagues from the Cambridge/KW area. We were among 29 Canadian educators who attended this year’s convention along with 450 educators from around the world. These awards are a testament to the dedication, warmth and competence my staff brings to every class they teach. I am so proud of their accomplishment.”
For more than 30 years, Kindermusik has touched the lives of children and their families, introducing them to the joy of learning through music.
