Rachel Beretta and David Isaac were at Kindermusik of Cambridge in the 1990’s until they graduated from the Young Child program. Both went on to study piano and theory, achieving their Grade 8 RCM and Grade 2 Rudiments. Childhood friends and classmates, it was through a senior piano class at the studio of Amber Morphy the two were re-united 7 years ago. They will be married this coming June in Cambridge.
Rachel is a science graduate of Western University, the gold medalist in Genetics and will be graduating from McMaster DeGroote School of Medicine in May. She begins her residency in Family Medicine at Western In July. David is a graduate of Western University in Honours English and Philosophy, of the University of Waterloo with a Masters in Philosophy, and is currently in his first year studying law at Western’s Faculty of Law.
Music is very much a cornerstone of Rachel and David’s lives, both still actively playing and singing and consuming music of all genres, as often as their busy schedules allow. Their wedding ceremony will be filled with musicians playing music, and a reflection of the important role it has played in their lives.
